This agreement will provide up to 200 megawatts (MW) of electrical capacity to Fermi's Project Matador Campus in Amarillo, Texas. The agreement outlines that Xcel Energy will begin delivering 86 MW of electrical capacity in January 2026, with plans to increase to 200 MW. The electricity will be delivered through SPS's high-voltage 115-kilovolt transmission system, ensuring reliable service.
