Echion Technologies, a leading supplier of niobium-based anode materials, has announced the commercial launch of its XNO® battery products at Battery Japan, in collaboration with GUS Technology. The new battery range, manufactured at GUS Technology's
facility in Taiwan, offers fast-charging and high-power performance, capable of 80% charging in 5 minutes and maintaining performance at -30°C. The batteries are designed for high-demand applications such as mass transportation, construction, and grid interactive UPS systems. The XNO® technology provides more than 50% higher energy density compared to traditional lithium titanate batteries, while maintaining long cycle life and safety.
