What's Happening?
Bombardier has introduced its FastTrack program in Hartford, Connecticut, aimed at accelerating the training of aircraft maintenance technicians to obtain their Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification. This initiative,
developed in collaboration with Wichita State University Campus of Applied Sciences and Technology (WSU Tech), is now expanding to Hartford in partnership with CT Aero Tech, part of the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS). The program is designed to provide a streamlined pathway for technicians with at least 18 months of industry experience to achieve FAA certification through a combination of classroom and hands-on training. Bombardier plans to replicate this program across other U.S. locations to support its growing service operations.
