A recent survey conducted by Talker Research on behalf of Mattress Firm has revealed that two-thirds of Americans believe in the importance of a specific bedtime routine for achieving quality sleep. The survey, which included 2,000 U.S. adults, found
that 76% of respondents adhere strictly to their nighttime routines to ensure proper rest. Key elements of these routines include sleeping on the right side of the bed, using two pillows, and maintaining a room temperature of 66 degrees. The survey also highlighted generational differences in sleep preferences, with Gen Z favoring minimal clothing and baby boomers preferring matching pajama sets. Additionally, the use of wearable devices to track sleep is more common among younger generations.
