What's Happening?
REalloys has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with U.S. Critical Materials (USCM) to secure up to 10% of production from the Sheep Creek rare earth project in Montana. The Sheep Creek deposit, owned by USCM, is notable for its high-grade
rare earth elements, including dysprosium, terbium, and yttrium, as well as gallium, which is used in defense and advanced technology applications. This agreement aims to enhance REalloys' domestic supply chain ahead of planned restrictions on Chinese-origin rare earth procurement set for 2027. The MoU outlines potential equity investments and joint efforts to secure government funding, along with plans for further metallurgical testing and optimization of processing flowsheets.
