Arm Holdings has announced the launch of its first Arm-designed data center CPU, the Arm AGI CPU, marking a significant expansion of its compute platform into production silicon products. This new CPU is designed to support agentic AI infrastructure,
offering more than double the performance per rack compared to traditional x86 platforms. Developed in collaboration with Meta, the Arm AGI CPU aims to address the growing demand for CPUs capable of handling the increasing volume of tokens generated by AI systems. The CPU features up to 136 Arm Neoverse V3 cores per CPU, providing high performance and efficiency within real-world power constraints.
