Trimble has announced a collaboration with SkillsUSA to provide advanced technology and training to career and technical education (CTE) students across the United States. This partnership aims to prepare a workforce capable of meeting the demand for over
450,000 new construction professionals by 2027. By integrating advanced modeling and geospatial tools into classrooms and trade training programs, the initiative seeks to address the widening skills gap. Trimble will donate software subscriptions, including Trimble SketchUp 3D modeling software and Tekla software for Building Information Modeling (BIM), to SkillsUSA. This collaboration also includes sponsorship of the National Leadership & Skills Conference, supporting competitions in drafting, drone technology, and heavy equipment operation.
