What's Happening?
Imari Berry, a guard for the University of Louisville women's basketball team, and Jonneshia Pineda, the team's associate head coach, have been selected to participate in the USA Basketball 3X Development Camp and Showcase. The event is scheduled to take
place in Mesa, Arizona, from May 6 to May 10. Berry, who recently completed a successful sophomore season, was named the ACC Sixth Player of the Year. She is recognized for her scoring ability, having led her team in scoring six times and achieving a career-high 33 points in a game against NC State. Pineda, who has been with the Cardinals for seven seasons, was recently promoted to associate head coach. She has contributed to the team's impressive record, including two Atlantic Coast Conference regular season championships and an appearance in the 2022 Final Four.
