What's Happening?
Ohio is set to receive over 200 new electric vehicle (EV) chargers, funded by $51 million from the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program and an additional $26 million from private investments. The initiative will establish 64 new charging
sites, each with four charging ports, across the state. Locations include mainstream retail sites such as Sheetz, Tesla, United Dairy Farmers, Aldi, Love’s Travel Stops, and Pilot Travel Centers. The chargers are expected to be installed by the end of 2027, providing restrooms and food services at the sites.
