Mercedes-Benz Trucks has opened order books for the battery-electric eArocs 400, marking its entry into the electric construction vehicle segment. The eArocs 400, which debuted at bauma Munich, will be produced at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth am Rhein
starting in the third quarter of 2026. The truck features two lithium-iron-phosphate battery packs, offering a range of up to 240 kilometers in dump truck operation. It charges at up to 400 kW via a CCS2 interface, reaching 10 to 80 percent in approximately 46 minutes. The model is available in 37 and 44-tonne variants, suitable for dump body and concrete mixer applications.
