The Fountain Valley High School wrestling team has claimed its fourth consecutive team title at the CIF Southern Section Coastal Division individual wrestling championships. The event, held on February 14, saw Fountain Valley dominate with eight individual champions among its 11 finalists. Key performances included senior Hunter Jauregui, who won his third section title, and Vinnie Gutierrez, who was named the lower-weight MVP. The team achieved a significant victory margin over runner-up West Covina South Hills, showcasing their continued dominance in the sport. The success of the team is attributed to their rigorous training and strong team spirit, as highlighted by team captain Jauregui.
