The Society of Illustrators, in collaboration with Unclaimed Baggage, has launched a creative initiative to support foster children by transforming suitcases into works of art. Nearly 20 artists participated
in a live painting event, where they decorated hard-sided luggage to be donated to foster children in New York City. This initiative is part of the Love Luggage project, which aims to provide foster children with personalized suitcases, offering them a sense of dignity and ownership. The project coincides with National Foster Care Month and includes additional painting workshops and exhibits across the country.
