Major League Baseball has announced the rosters for the third annual East-West Classic, set to take place at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama, on June 19, 2026. The event, which pays homage to the Negro Leagues All-Star Games, will feature a home
run derby and a five-inning contest. Hall of Famer CC Sabathia and All-Star outfielder Chris Young will lead the teams as captains. The event will also include a PLAY BALL clinic for local youth, emphasizing community engagement and the promotion of baseball among young players.
