She found support through Dogs Inc, an organization providing service dogs to Gold Star families. Her daughter received a companion dog, Taylor, which helped her cope with anxiety and grief. Jillian later received her own service dog, Kylo, aiding her in overcoming anxiety and re-engaging with life.
