The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) has sanctioned a $2.9 billion loan to Perpetua Resources for the development of the Stibnite Gold project in Idaho. This loan is the largest under EXIM's 'Make More in America' initiative and the fourth
largest in the agency's history. The project aims to produce gold and antimony, a critical mineral for defense and renewable energy technologies. The Stibnite site is expected to become operational by 2029 and could supply approximately 35% of U.S. antimony demand during its initial six years.
