What's Happening?
Framingham Sports Centre, located within the grounds of Framingham Earl High School near Norwich, is set to undergo a significant transformation following the agreement of a £5 million funding package.
The project, led by South Norfolk Council, includes a 370 sq m extension to house a new gym, a multi-use exercise studio, and a full-sized, all-weather 3G football pitch. Additional plans involve constructing a new entrance, reception, lobby, changing facilities, an access road, and an 83-space car park. The investment aims to address local demand for sports facilities, with the center expected to accommodate 800 members and serve as a home for local football clubs, including nine women's teams.
