What's Happening?
Ethan Wyttenbach and Elliott Groenewold, players from Quinnipiac University's men's ice hockey team, have been named 2026 New England All-Stars by the New England Hockey Writers Association. Wyttenbach, a freshman forward, also received the New England Rookie
of the Year award, adding to his accolades from the 2025-26 season, including being a top-10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. Groenewold, a sophomore defenseman and Boston Bruins prospect, was recognized for his defensive skills, leading his team with a +39 plus/minus rating and earning the 2026 ECAC Best Defensive Defenseman award.
