Dollywood is set to launch its most ambitious ride yet, the NightFlight Expedition, in the spring of 2026. This new attraction represents the largest single investment in the park's history, costing over $50 million. The ride is designed to offer a unique
indoor family coaster experience, featuring water elements and immersive digital technology. The NightFlight Expedition spans 44,000 square feet, equivalent to four football fields, and offers a 5.5-minute journey through the Smoky Mountains at night. The ride incorporates innovative rocking boat vehicles and a conveyance system, making it a first-of-its-kind attraction. Dollywood President Eugene Naughton emphasized the ride's potential to enhance the park's appeal as a year-round family destination.
