What's Happening?
Larvotto Resources has confirmed the presence of recoverable gold and antimony at its Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Project in New South Wales. Recent surveys and metallurgical testwork on tailings from the site
have demonstrated the potential for metal recovery using conventional flotation methods. The project aims to reprocess historical tailings, recover valuable metals, and rehabilitate the site. Larvotto plans to continue with flotation work, resource estimation, and environmental assessments, with production scheduled to begin in August 2026.
Why It's Important?
The discovery of recoverable metals at the Hillgrove Project presents a significant opportunity for Larvotto Resources. By extracting valuable resources from historical tailings, the company can generate revenue while addressing environmental concerns through site rehabilitation. This dual approach aligns with sustainable mining practices and could enhance Larvotto's reputation and market position. The project also supports the local economy by creating jobs and contributing to regional development.
