What's Happening?
Favre Leuba has announced the expansion of its Deep Raider Renaissance Collection by introducing new meteorite and malachite dials. These luxury watches are powered by the automatic FLD02 caliber, which is based on a La Joux-Perret architecture. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 68-hour power reserve. The watches feature decorative elements such as Geneva Stripes, blued screws, and perlage, visible through the exhibition case back. The Deep Raider Renaissance Malachite is priced at $3,600 on a rubber strap and $3,700 on a bracelet, while the Meteorite version is priced $100 higher for each configuration.
Why It's Important?
The introduction of these new dials by Favre Leuba signifies a strategic move to capture a larger share of the luxury
watch market. By offering unique materials like meteorite and malachite, the brand is appealing to collectors and enthusiasts who value exclusivity and craftsmanship. This expansion not only enhances the brand's portfolio but also strengthens its position in the competitive luxury watch industry. The pricing strategy reflects the brand's commitment to providing high-quality timepieces that combine technical precision with aesthetic appeal, potentially increasing its market share and brand loyalty.
