Matalan has announced the appointment of Beccy Davies as its new people and talent director. Davies will report to Alyson Fadil, the brand's chief people officer, and will oversee the company's people strategy
across its shops, distribution centers, and head office. Prior to joining Matalan, Davies served as head of HR at Exertis UK and held senior HR positions at Estée Lauder Companies, Sofology, and Selfridges. Her appointment follows Matalan's recent hiring of Ruth Golightly as head of childrenswear buying and Henrik Nordvall as CEO.
