Disney+ has announced a new content partnership with Mexico's TV Azteca, enhancing its content offerings in the region. This agreement will make the upcoming season of TV Azteca's MasterChef 24/7 available on Disney+ starting May 17. The financial terms
of the deal have not been disclosed. This collaboration is part of Disney+'s strategy to work with free-to-air broadcasters globally, including partnerships with XSports in Brazil, Atresmedia and RTVE in Spain, ITVX in the U.K., ARD and ZDF in Germany, SIC in Portugal, and TVING in Japan. The partnership will also include other reality formats to be confirmed soon, building on previous collaborations on shows like La Academia and La Granja VIP. Additionally, Disney+ will add three live channels from TV Azteca International, offering a diverse range of local fiction, non-fiction content, sports events, and entertainment programming to its subscribers in Mexico.
