Waymo, a leader in autonomous driving technology, has announced the expansion of its driverless ride-hailing services to four new cities: Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Orlando. This expansion allows select customers in these areas to experience local
robotaxi rides. The service covers 60 square miles in San Antonio and Orlando, 50 square miles in Dallas, and 25 square miles in Houston, primarily focusing on downtown areas. Previously, Waymo's driverless services were available in six U.S. cities, including Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Austin.
