Loyal Legion, a well-known Portland-based beer bar, is set to expand its operations to Vancouver, Washington, marking a significant shift in its business model. Traditionally focused on celebrating Oregon's
craft brewing tradition, Loyal Legion will now include over 70 taps of Washington state beers at its new location. This expansion is set to open in the spring at the former Heathen Brewing taproom in downtown Vancouver. The new venue will feature a 5,000-square-foot taproom and a similarly sized patio, accommodating around 150 people both indoors and outdoors. The remodel will highlight 22-foot ceilings and enhanced landscaping. The expansion also includes a larger kitchen to improve service speed and a menu that will feature pizza alongside existing offerings like burgers and sausages. A speakeasy-style cocktail bar is also planned for the basement.
