Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) has introduced new kinesiology labs and athletic facilities at the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center. The unveiling included the Dynamic Athletic Research Institute lab, equipped to analyze movement and energy use,
and the Applied Suspension Training Research lab, featuring innovative PENDL apparatuses. These facilities aim to enhance research and training in kinesiology, offering state-of-the-art resources for students and researchers. The renovations, costing approximately $3 million, also include updates to the gymnasium, such as new bleachers and a basketball floor, marking a significant investment in the university's athletic infrastructure.
