Kerry-Ann Ming, a senior volleyball player from Mackinaw City, has been voted the top athlete in the Cheboygan area for the 2025 fall sports season. Ming secured 48.46% of the votes in a poll conducted by the Cheboygan Daily Tribune, surpassing other notable athletes such as Elise Markham, a junior golfer from Cheboygan. The poll, which ran from Monday morning to Thursday night, highlighted Ming's exceptional performance in volleyball, earning her the Northern Lakes Conference's Player of the Year and all-region honors.
