The Julien Dubuque International Film Festival (JDIFF) in Iowa is celebrating its 15th anniversary by expanding from five to eight days. The festival, which runs from April 18-25, will feature over 200 films selected from more than 1,300 submissions.
It includes a mix of narrative features, documentaries, and shorts, with many films making their Iowa or world premieres. The festival will host over 400 filmmakers and offer workshops, panel discussions, and coffee talks. Notably, a documentary about Iowa opera singer Simon Estes will be featured, highlighting his life and career.
