Western Star Resources has significantly expanded its Rowland Tungsten Property in Nevada by 170% through physical claim staking. This expansion includes historical mine workings and a newly identified adit, positioning the company to pursue district-scale
tungsten exploration in one of Nevada's established mining jurisdictions. The newly identified adit is hosted within mapped intrusive units, suggesting that current geological mapping may require revision. Since acquiring Rowland in late 2025, Western Star has compiled historical data, conducted a LiDAR survey to uncover historical mining activity, and performed geological assessments. Historical production from the site reported over 1,000 tonnes of ore grading up to 3.39% tungsten oxide between 1943 and 1956. The Rowland Project is a road-accessible asset located near Jarbidge, Nevada, characterized by limestones, shales, and quartzite intruded by quartz monzonite stock. Western Star aims to revitalize North America's tungsten supply, a critical material for defense and industrial applications, amid global supply chain risks due to China's dominance in tungsten production.
