What's Happening?
Hi-View Resources has announced the appointment of Shannon Broughm as its new technical advisor. Broughm brings nine years of experience as a consulting geologist, specializing in managing and executing mineral exploration projects. Her expertise is particularly focused on porphyry-epithermal systems, which are crucial for the exploration of base and precious metals. CEO Nick Horsley highlighted Broughm's geological and geochemical expertise, as well as her leadership in fieldwork and exploration, particularly in the Toodoggone region. This appointment comes as Hi-View Resources aims to advance its asset portfolio in Canada, which includes the recently acquired Saunders and Nub projects. These projects are located 300km northeast of Smithers
and 30km north of the Kemess copper-gold porphyry complex. The company is also working on digitizing legacy data from the Saunders project to assess historical drilling efforts.
Why It's Important?
The appointment of Shannon Broughm as a technical advisor is a strategic move for Hi-View Resources as it seeks to enhance its exploration capabilities and asset portfolio in Canada. Broughm's expertise in porphyry-epithermal systems is particularly valuable, given the company's focus on base and precious metals. This development is significant for the mining industry as it underscores the importance of experienced leadership in advancing exploration projects. The acquisition of the Saunders and Nub projects further strengthens Hi-View's position in the region, potentially leading to increased resource discovery and development. This could have broader implications for the Canadian mining sector, potentially boosting local economies and contributing to the global supply of critical minerals.
What's Next?
Hi-View Resources is expected to continue its focus on advancing its Canadian projects, with Shannon Broughm playing a key role in guiding exploration efforts. The company will likely prioritize the digitization and analysis of legacy data from the Saunders project to optimize exploration strategies. As the company progresses, stakeholders, including investors and local communities, will be keenly observing the outcomes of these efforts. Successful exploration and development could lead to further investments and partnerships, enhancing Hi-View's growth prospects and impact on the mining industry.
