Hana Elster, a senior at Boston University, has developed an online vintage clothing marketplace named VYA using the AI tool Claude. Inspired by her passion for vintage fashion and the entrepreneurial spirit around her, Elster built the platform over
her winter break. The marketplace connects vintage stores across the U.S., addressing the challenges these stores face in gaining online visibility. Elster's platform currently hosts 38 vintage shops and has approximately 900 users, with half being daily active users. The platform charges a 7% commission on sales and offers a 'source for requests' service for unique items.
