What's Happening?
Amaroq Minerals has successfully installed and commissioned a flotation recovery circuit at the Nalunaq Gold Mine in South Greenland. The new circuit is expected to increase overall gold recovery from 50-70% to 90-95%, significantly enhancing gold production
from the same ore feed. The processing plant is now operating to design specifications, with both gravity and flotation recovery circuits functioning effectively. Amaroq's FY2026 gold production guidance ranges from 25,000 to 35,000 ounces, with H1 2026 production expected to range from 7,000 to 10,000 ounces. The company is focused on exploring and developing gold and strategic metal properties in South Greenland.
Why It's Important?
The commissioning of the flotation recovery circuit at Nalunaq Gold Mine represents a major milestone for Amaroq Minerals, as it significantly boosts gold recovery rates and production efficiency. This development enhances the company's ability to meet its annual production guidance and strengthens its position in the gold mining industry. The increased recovery rates also improve the economic viability of the Nalunaq project, potentially leading to higher revenues and profitability. Amaroq's focus on strategic metal properties in South Greenland aligns with global demand for precious metals, positioning the company for future growth and expansion.
