The Black Beauty Club, led by Tomi Talabi, hosted an awards dinner to honor the inaugural Beauty Vanguard 50 list. This initiative celebrates influencers and thought-leaders in beauty, film, art, and media who are shaping the future of Black beauty. The list is divided
into five categories, recognizing individuals like Tracee Ellis Ross and Halle Berry as Canon Builders, and Chioma Nnadi and Funmi Fetto as Cultural Architects. The event, held at WSA and partnered with L'Oreal, also honored trailblazers such as Tina Knowles and Naeemah LaFond with awards from Tiffany & Co. The dinner emphasized the importance of community and collaboration in advancing Black beauty.
