What's Happening?
The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is set to host its 12th edition of the NADA New York art fair at the Starrett-Lehigh Building from May 13-17, 2026. Executive Director Heather Hubbs, who has been with NADA since 2004, has overseen its growth from a small-scale
initiative to an international event. This year's fair will feature over 100 galleries and dealers from around the world, with a special Curated Spotlight organized by Anthony Elms in partnership with TD Bank. The fair aims to showcase a diverse range of contemporary art and support galleries and artists in building sustainable careers.
Why It's Important?
NADA New York plays a crucial role in the art world by providing a platform for emerging and established galleries to gain visibility and connect with new audiences. The fair's international scope and focus on contemporary art reflect broader trends in the art market, where diversity and innovation are increasingly valued. By supporting galleries and artists, NADA contributes to the sustainability of the arts ecosystem, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. The fair's return to the Starrett-Lehigh Building, a site with rich cultural history, underscores its commitment to maintaining a vibrant and accessible art scene.
