The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) has announced that its President, Rebecca Brewster, will retire in early 2027 after 34 years with the organization, including 25 years as president and COO. ATRI, a not-for-profit research organization, focuses
on freight transportation research to support safety, security, and efficiency in the trucking industry. Brewster expressed gratitude for the support she received from the ATRI Board and highlighted the organization's readiness to continue its mission. The ATRI Board has formed a search committee, led by Werner Enterprises Chairman Derek Leathers and Iowa Motor Truck Association President Brenda Neville, to find Brewster's successor. The committee will begin its search in May.
