Despite these advancements, only a small fraction of employees believe AI has fundamentally transformed their work processes. The survey also notes that AI adoption is linked to workforce changes, with 27% of employees in AI-adopting organizations reporting significant workplace disruptions, compared to 17% in non-AI adopting organizations. These disruptions include both workforce expansions and reductions, particularly in small and midsized companies.
