Haslam Sports Group (HSG) has announced the appointment of Tim Bezbatchenko as President of Global Soccer. Bezbatchenko will oversee all sporting elements for Columbus NWSL 2028, the Columbus Crew, and HSG's future soccer investments. With over 17 years
of experience in global soccer leadership, Bezbatchenko has a track record of success, including three MLS Cups and two Concacaf Champions Cup Finals appearances. He returns to Ohio after serving as President of Black Knight Football Club, where he contributed to significant achievements in European soccer. Bezbatchenko will report to HSG's CEO and Chairman, Dee and Jimmy Haslam, and will work alongside President of Business Operations Mary Shepro.
