What's Happening?
French engineering firm GTT has received an order from Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding for the design of cryogenic tanks for five new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers. These vessels, commissioned by ship-owner MISC, will each have a capacity of 174,000
cubic meters and will feature the NO96 Super+ membrane containment system developed by GTT. The delivery of these carriers is scheduled between 2029 and 2030, marking a significant advancement in LNG transportation technology.
