What's Happening?
The University of Michigan is celebrating its men's basketball team's national championship with a series of events in Ann Arbor. The festivities begin with a parade through Central Campus, starting at 10 a.m. in front of the university president's house
at 815 South University Avenue. The parade will proceed west to South State Street, turning south and concluding at Yost Ice Arena. Streets along the parade route will be closed from 8 a.m. Following the parade, a championship celebration will be held at the Crisler Center, the home arena of the men's basketball team, starting at 1 p.m. Tickets for the event are priced at $30 for the upper bowl, $75 for the lower bowl, and $20 for students, available at MGoBlue.com/tickets. Doors open at noon, and the event will also be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
