IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to open a new 179-room InterContinental hotel in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, by late 2028. This development is part of a partnership with Gulf Province Properties Limited and will be located near key government and diplomatic sites. The hotel will feature various amenities, including dining options, meeting spaces, and a fitness center. This expansion strengthens IHG's presence in Papua New Guinea, where it already operates several hotels.
