Puma has announced the appointment of Bertrand Blanc to the newly created position of vice president global wholesale, effective May 1. Blanc will report directly to Matthias Baeumer, the chief commercial
officer, and will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies aimed at strengthening Puma's position with key wholesale customers. Blanc brings over 25 years of experience in international management positions, having held senior roles in strategy, key account management, planning, and operations within the sports industry, including at Asics and Nike. Most recently, he served as the senior global commercial director of racquet sports at Wilson Sporting Goods. This appointment is part of Puma's strategy to create a global center of excellence that supports its global markets.
