What's Happening?
St. Pete restaurants have been included in the Michelin Guide's Florida selection, but none received a Michelin star for the second consecutive year. Restaurants Il Ritorno, Sushi Sho Rexley, and Fortu retained their recommended status, while Elliott
Aster and In Between Days were newly added to the list. This year marks the first time the guide expanded to cover the entire state of Florida, including St. Pete-Clearwater.
Why It's Important?
The inclusion of St. Pete restaurants in the Michelin Guide highlights the city's growing culinary scene. While the lack of a Michelin star may be disappointing, the recommendations can still boost the city's reputation as a dining destination. This recognition can attract food enthusiasts and tourists, potentially increasing business for local restaurants and contributing to the local economy.
