The Missouri Tigers gymnastics team competed in the Southeastern Conference Championship at the BOK Center, securing second place in Session I. Missouri, seeded seventh, faced off against fifth-seeded Georgia, sixth-seeded Arkansas, eighth-seeded Auburn,
and ninth-seeded Kentucky. The Tigers achieved a score of 197.075, trailing behind Georgia, who won with a score of 197.450. Missouri started strong on bars, with freshman Kimarra Echols scoring a 9.900. However, a shaky performance on the beam, including a fall by redshirt senior Amy Wier, resulted in a score of 49. Despite this setback, the team excelled on the floor and vault, with junior Hannah Horton achieving a 9.950 on vault, the highest score in Session I. Missouri's performance on these events helped them regain their position, although they ultimately finished second.
