What's Happening?
James Bush has been appointed to lead the Northern masterplanning and urban design team at Marrons, a multidisciplinary development consultancy. Bush, along with his team members Billy Burgess, Matthew Howard, and Georgia Gray, all join from Stantec.
The team will operate out of Marrons' new office in Manchester, which is part of the company's strategic expansion in the North West. Bush brings over a decade of experience in urban design and masterplanning, aiming to integrate strong design thinking with commercial awareness to deliver innovative residential and mixed-use projects.
Why It's Important?
The appointment of James Bush and the establishment of a new office in Manchester mark a significant step in Marrons' growth strategy in the North of England. This move is expected to enhance the company's ability to support regional clients and contribute to sustainable urban development. By expanding its presence, Marrons aims to leverage its expertise in planning and urban design to shape high-quality developments that meet both client and community needs. This development reflects broader trends in urban planning, where there is an increasing focus on creating context-driven, sustainable environments.
