Anu Valia, a writer and director known for her work in both film and television, has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for representation. Valia, a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, gained recognition with her short film 'Lucia, Before
and After', which won the U.S. Fiction Award at Sundance in 2017. Her television credits include directing episodes for popular series such as 'Shrinking', 'She-Hulk', and 'And Just Like That...'. Valia's debut feature film, 'We Strangers', premiered at SXSW in 2024 and received accolades at various film festivals. She is also involved in the Reframe Rise 2025-2026 cohort and was named The Gotham's Series Creator to Watch in 2025.
