What's Happening?
Kongsberg Maritime has signed a significant contract with Sea1 Offshore to supply Launch and Recovery Systems (LARS) for four new offshore construction vessels. Each vessel will be equipped with two advanced LARS units, which include telescopic A-frames, electrical umbilical winches, and energy-efficient hydraulic power units. These systems are designed to support subsea construction and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operations, offering a safe working load of 15 tonnes and a winch cable capacity of 4,500 meters.
