Deezer, a French streaming service, has announced that 44% of the songs uploaded to its platform daily are AI-generated, amounting to approximately 75,000 tracks per day. Despite the high volume of uploads, these AI-generated songs account for only 1-3%
of total streams on the platform. Deezer has implemented measures to detect and flag AI-generated content, using a proprietary AI detection tool. The company has been tagging AI tracks since June 2025, and these tracks are removed from algorithmic recommendations and editorial playlists.
