What's Happening?
The Battle of the Chefs, a competitive cooking event, is set to return to downtown Flossmoor on July 11. This event aims to raise funds for the iCan Dream Center and the Center for Food Equity in Medicine (CFFEIM). The competition will feature two teams,
Team Dunning's and Team 3v3, who will compete using a surprise batch of ingredients. The event, which has been held annually since 2021, except for a hiatus in 2025, will include gourmet appetizers and signature cocktails for attendees who purchase tickets. The event will also feature a performance by the band Return2Soul.
