What's Happening?
Astro Offshore has expanded its fleet with the addition of a new ultra-deepwater multi-purpose support vessel (MPSV), named Astro Atlas. This 97-meter vessel, equipped with advanced subsea technology, including a 150-tonne active heave compensated crane,
is designed to support complex offshore operations such as subsea construction and pipeline installation. The vessel will operate under a long-term charter with Oceaneering International, marking Astro Offshore's entry into the ultra-deepwater segment and enabling the company to undertake more challenging projects.
