The Houston Rockets have unveiled plans for a $180 million upgrade to the Toyota Center, dubbed 'Toyota Center Reimagined.' The project, partially funded by Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta, aims to enhance the fan experience and solidify downtown Houston as
a prime location for sports and entertainment. Approved by the Harris County–Houston Sports Authority, the renovation will coincide with the expansion of the George R. Brown Convention Center. Construction is set to begin after the 2025-26 season, with completion expected by fall 2027.
