Robert J. Schickler, known as Bob, passed away on January 17, 2026. Born in 1932 near Rochester, NY, Bob was one of ten siblings in a farming family. He attended Holy Ghost Catholic School, Aquinas Institute,
and graduated from St. Bonaventure and St. John Fisher University. Bob married Marilyn Ladd in 1955 and was a skilled mason, building homes for his growing family. He worked as a Realtor and appraiser, becoming a top salesperson and later a general manager. Bob was active in his church community and enjoyed skiing, golfing, and spending time with family. He moved to Colorado Springs in 1993, continuing his real estate career and community involvement.
